

Born February 2, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Russell P. and Elizabeth (Mazzeffa) Santoro.
Prior to attending St. Joseph’s University, Tony served in the U.S. Navy for five years. He worked for the United States Internal Revenue Service for 40 years, and married his wife, Lilia, in September of 1980. Tony was a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan, and enjoyed all Philadelphia sports. He loved the beach, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Lilia (Puerto) Santoro; a daughter, Nicole (Santoro) Greenwood; and two grandchildren, Luke and Anna Greenwood.
In addition to his parents, Tony was predeceased by a sister, Diana D’Alessandro.
Inurnment will be held at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery at 1600 S. Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA, 19064, at a later date, announcement forthcoming. Due to COVID restrictions, a celebration of life will be held later in 2021. At that time, family will reach out accordingly.
