David P. Light

Born on December 3, 1950, in Reading, David was the son of the late Paul H. and Jane D. Light. He was a proud graduate of Reading High School.

David found joy in many passions. He was an avid bowler who spent countless hours at local lanes, enjoying both the sport and the camaraderie it brought. A devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and NASCAR, he followed each season with enthusiasm and loyalty.

Family was central to David’s life. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Jennifer L. Lengel, wife of David H., and his son, Johl D. Light, husband of Tina. He was a cherished grandfather to eight grandchildren—Michael, Brianna, Cassandra, Elizabeth, Madilyn, Jace, and Piper—and a proud great-grandfather to Greyson. David also leaves behind his sister Joyce, wife of John Hill; a niece, Heather and nephew, Wayne; and his sister-in-law Marleen Forry. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his loving wife, Kathleen E Light.

Private arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
