

The Dangerfield family sadly announces the passing of Dickson Price Dangerfield of Wallingford Pennsylvania on July 7, 2026. Dickson was born on July 29, 1952 in Bryn Mawr Hospital Pennsylvania. He was a graduate of Friends Central High School and later attended Computer Learning Center where he met his wife Linda, which led to a long career for him as a computer developer at General Accident and AAA Atlantic. Dickson will be remembered for all the times he spent with his family and many friends. He was a kind and gentle soul, that was a glowing light to those that had the privilege of knowing him. Dickson enjoyed life, and had numerous interests including traveling with his family around the world, golfing, disc golf, model trains, boating, 3D printing, computer games and many more. Dickson was a big sports fan his whole life, and loved his Eagles and Phillies teams. He had a witty sense of humor, but never at someone’s expense. He was a peace keeper, a steady force in the world, a person that his friends and family could count on and trust. Dickson will be dearly missed.
Dickson is survived by his mother Dorothy Jeanne Dangerfield, sister Jeanne(John)Coleman Broad, brother George(Holly) Coleman Dangerfield, stepson Bernard(Sema) Bryson and stepdaughter Shane(Don) Praeger.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am at Trinity Episcopal Church, 301 N Chester Rd, Swarthmore, PA 19081, on Wednesday, July 29.
