Gail H. Hoke

Mr. Gail H. Hoke, age 95, died on September 4, 2026. Mr. Hoke, born in York, PA in 1931 to Samuel and Marie Hoke, graduated from York High School, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in 1957. He was employed by the General Electric Company for thirty nine years before retiring in 1996.

His career in contract management at GE was centered in the aerospace industry and he participated in the development and production of defense systems and military communications satellites in support of the nation's space programs. He received numerous commendations from the government and his company for his performance and recognized achievements.

He is survived by his son Craig and wife Yarr, and grandson, Alex; his two daughters, Anne Hoke and Lynne Simms and her husband Bobby; former wife Joyce Hoke; and many other friends and family.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hoke is predeceased by his wife, Sammi.

A Memorial Service will be held at Lower Providence Presbyterian Church, 3050 Ridge Pike, Norristown, PA 19403, on October 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
