Mary Louise Roberts and her husband, Kenneth “Ken” Roberts, passed away together on March 6th following a tragic automobile accident. Their loss is felt deeply by all who knew them, and their family takes comfort in knowing they left this world as they lived much of their later life — side by side and enjoying good times with family and friends.
Mary Louise Roberts- Mary Louise was a woman of quiet strength, deep loyalty, boundless positivity and unwavering devotion to her family. She dedicated more than 40 years of her professional life to the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center, where she worked as a highly respected histologist. Her colleagues knew her not only as meticulous, compassionate, and steady — someone who brought both skill and heart to her work but also considered her a dear friend.
She is survived by her brother, Dr. Thomas Wisler of Palo Alto, California, and her son, Joe Silvano of Rolling Hills Estates, California. Mary Louise will be remembered for her warmth, her gentle humor, infectious laugh and the grounding presence she offered to everyone fortunate enough to be part of her life.
Kenneth “Ken” Roberts- Ken lived a life defined by service, commitment, and integrity. He served his country honorably as a Vietnam Veteran, completing multiple tours of duty. After returning home, he built a long and successful career at Clayton Landis (CHL) as a Procurement Specialist, where he was valued for his reliability, work ethic, and ability to solve problems with calm precision. He loved sharing good stories and good laughs.
