

Born April 6, 1942 to Alma Katherine Harris and Edward Roy Sheaffer, Bonnie was the oldest of six children. She graduated from Greenwood High School and later opened her own restaurant “Bonnie’s Restaurant & Pizza Shop” in Liverpool, PA, where she was a beloved longtime resident of the community.
Bonnie was known for her artistic talent and innate creativity. She was a passionate Christian and follower of Jesus, often volunteering at her church, preparing and delivering meals to those in need, and making art for loved ones. Seamstress, cake decorator, and woodworker, she could bring any idea to life. Her children describe her as strong, independent, and “the best mom in the world.”
Bonnie is survived by her husband (Roger Aughenbaugh), three children (Douglas P. Murray and wife Becky, Debra K. Cameron and husband Andrew, and Kathy L. D’Errico and husband John Sr.), four grandchildren (Joshua Murray, John “L.J.” and Kalyn D’Errico, and Ellie Cameron), two great-grandsons (Anthony “A.J.” Jr. and Daniel D’Errico), and three siblings (Bill Sheaffer, Mary Gebhardt, and David “Eddie” Sheaffer).
She is preceded in death by two of her sisters Polly Lyter and Joyce Hockenberry, her parents, her first and second husbands, and her grandson Anthony D’Errico. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10am on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at the Pfoutz Valley United Methodist Church, 159 Church Road, Millerstown, PA 17062.
