

Born November 5, 1956 in Harrisburg, Pa, he was a graduate of Red Land HS Class of 1974, served in the Air Force as a Munitions Systems Specialist in England and Holland from July 1974 to Dec 1978 and retired from Defense Logistics Agency in 2011 as a Storage Specialist.
He was a Life Member of James A Danner VFW Auxiliary and a member of the former Gold Wing Road Riders Association (PA Chapter K) where he held a Chapter Officer position.
Brian is survived by Sandra (Stoner) Knox, wife of 43 years, sons Shawn (Connie) of Etters, Chris (Mallory Harvey) of Harrisburg, brother William Knox (Barbie), sister Cindy Knox, both of Lewisberry, two grandsons, seven granddaughters, numerous nieces and nephews, his beloved cousin Robbin Smith of Jonestown and his best hunting buddy, Bob Long of Lewisberry. He was preceded in death by mother, Ardis (Critchley) Lau, stepfather, Joseph Lau, brother, Robert Knox and grandson, Brayden Reese Knox.
Brian was very passionate about hunting, and enjoyed golfing, motorcycling, woodworking, camping, and fishing. He will be missed by all those that have made his acquaintance over the years.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the doctors, nurses and therapists that provided excellent care in the ICU at Penn State Hampden Medical Center, and at Andrews-Patel Oncology & Hematology, Residential Hospice, and Cremation & Burial Society of Pennsylvania, Inc.
