Daniel Levi Klein, age 39 passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 24, 2022, at Hershey Medical Center. He was born on November 28, 1982 in Wichita, Kansas. He attended Red Land High School and graduated from Job Corps in 2001. Dan received his diploma from ITT Tech in 2008, and promptly started his IT career. Daniel is survived by his loving wife Carrie KIein (Vinck) whom he married in 2016 and his daughter Kayleigh Klein age 11. Additionally he is survived by his mother and stepfather, Elizabeth Mott and Howard Mott; Father, David Klein; brother, Charles Klein; two cats and Sully, his lab.
Dan was such a larger than life character that will be missed by his wife, family, and many friends. He was an avid reader of sci-fi and fantasy, happily listening to podcasts and stories from Warhammer 40K while working. Dan was a devoted and playful father that enjoyed every minute he got to spend with Kayleigh. The best of friends, he would happily drive hours to watch her band concert, or special event. Dan was a huge fan of board games and video games. His natural ability to win caused him to be on the receiving end of many friendly jabs. Dan was a thoughtful and supportive husband, bringing home flowers "just because" or making sure the coffee pot was always accessible. He enjoyed camping (glamping), fishing and exploring off the beaten path. Dan was most at home in the kitchen. He was always trying to perfect his recipes, and happy to feed anyone who happened to stop by. He had a huge appetite for life. Living it to the very fullest always. Dan's unusual sense of humor, and booming laugh won't easily be forgotten.
A memorial celebration will be held at the home of Dan's in-laws, Carol and Ernie Vinck. Saturday October 29th from 1 to 4pm. For more information or directions please contact Carol Vinck at (717)608-3303. Flowers and condolences can be sent to the Vinck family home at 644 Elliott Drive, Lewisberry, PA 17339.
