

On September 28th, Esther M. Phelps, 79, of Camp Hill, formerly of Bethlehem, was taken by the hand and led to be with our Lord. She was the daughter of the late Dallas S. Kohl and A. Pauline Kohl who turned 103 on the 28th. She graduated from Sunbury High School in 1965 and Bethlehem Business School in 1967 earning an Associate’s Degree in AccountIng. She worked at Air Products and Chemicals for 29 years. She will be missed by her husband, William J. Phelps, with whom she shared 59 wonderful years of marriage. She will also be missed by her daughter, Rebecca Krausse (Michael), two grandsons Brendan Krausse (Caroline) and Hayden Krausse, her sisters Tina Neitz (Donald) and Terry Pascolini, nephews Brian Neitz (Chelsy), Chad Neitz (Jessica), Rick Pascolini, Michael Kohl, niece Tracey Phillips (Matt) and several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Dallas Kohl, Jr. She had a loving niece, Jessica Keith (Daniel), and a long time family friend, Michelle Young (Ronald). All are saddened by her loss. She had close friendships with people both recently and some for more than 60 years. All who knew her felt she was the kindest, most loving, and generous individuals on the face of the planet. The family is planning a Celebration of Life Open House on October 10th from 1 to 5 pm at the home of Rebecca and Michael Krausse, 317 Cloudless Sky Drive, Mechanicsburg.
