

He was born April 23, 1947 in Shamokin, PA.
Gene graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School and received three advanced degrees, including his Master's Degree in Regional Planning, from Penn State. He retired in April 2011 after 42 years as a civil engineer with his most recent position being Chief Engineer, Bureau of Facility Design and Construction, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.
He was also a world traveler and an avid golfer.
Surviving are his wife of 41 A� years, Patricia B. (McCall) Comoss; a sister, Sandy Weaver, of Shamokin; and a niece Christie Timco, of Shamokin.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Friday, April 20, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
