

Lisa Ann Adams, 74, of Harrisburg, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 6th. Born on August 21st, 1952, in Ashland, Schuylkill County, she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Anna (Hinkle) Filiziani. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Dominic (Bernie) Filiziani and Raymond (Ray/Herky) Filiziani.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband of more than 50 years, Robert Adams; her daughters Melissa Vaughan and husband Terrence of Hummelstown, and Kimberly Victor and husband Marc of Harrisburg; her stepchildren Robert Brian Adams of Etters, and Maria Slabonik and husband Mark of Harrisburg.
She was a devoted grandmother to Liberty Vaughan of Hummelstown, and a cherished step grandmother to Tracie Houston of Harrisburg, Sean Houston of Etters, Ashley Daniels of Baltimore, Ethan Davis of Hummelstown, Keagan Yocum of Middletown, and Nadia Victor of Harrisburg. She was also blessed with step great grandchildren Brennan Slabonik of Harrisburg and Lilly Daniels of Baltimore.
Lisa is further survived by seven siblings: Louis Filiziani of Schuylkill Haven, Ann Marie Lorah of Ringtown, Francis (Frank/Cookie) Filiziani of Lancaster, Mabel Bolar of Ephrata, Thomas (Tommy) Filiziani of Morea, Angela (Angie) Dackweiler of Robesonia, and Eleanor (Ellie) Styka of Frackville; along with numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored.
Lisa retired from Hershey Foods, but she never stopped working to enrich the lives of her family, friends, and even strangers. She found joy in cooking and caring for others, gardening, and traveling with her husband. Her favorite days were spent preparing meals for her family and enjoying time at the casino with those she loved.
Lisa was truly a beautiful soul who can never be replaced. We will cherish her memory. Love you forever and a day.
A small service will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 9:30 a.m. on September 18th, followed by a reception at Memorial Lake State Park, Middle Pavilion. Please feel free to stop by the park anytime between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to share memories and celebrate her life.
