Marion Elizabeth Maxwell

Born in Hazleton, PA, on July 22, 1938, Marion was the beloved daughter of John and Nancy Eroh. On June 6, 1958, she married the love of her life, James C. Maxwell, in their hometown of Hazleton. Together, they built a beautiful life and a devoted family.

Marion dedicated many years to her career as a receptionist at Maryland Casualty/Zurich Insurance Co., where her welcoming nature touched many. Beyond her work, her true passion was dance. She spent her early adult years sharing that joy as a dance teacher. Marion and James shared a lifetime of dances together; her family finds comfort in the thought that they are finally reunited, dancing once again.

A cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, Marion’s greatest pride was her family. She is survived by her three children, James D. Maxwell, Jeffrey A. Maxwell, and Kimberly A. Foltz; her five grandchildren, Jenna Gosden, Ashley Maxwell, Saige Maxwell, Dakota Foltz, and Shelby Blakely; and her great-grandchild, Ezra Gosden.

A memorial service to celebrate Marion’s life will be held on February 28, 2026, at Baughman Church. 228 Bridge St. New Cumberland, PA, Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed immediately by the service at 11:00 am.
