

Robert Dale Yentzer sadly left us on December 10,2022 following several health complications. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruth (Hershey) Yentzer and a sister, Judy Saltsburg. He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Muretta (Reda) Yentzer and their beloved dog Muffin, siblings Jack Yentzer (Beulah), Virginia Adams, Rodney Yentzer (Carol), Gary Saltsburg (widower of Judy), Bonnie Bixler (Randy), Karen Brinley (Chris), sister-in-law Jill Kent (Jim) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Robert graduated from Cedar Cliff High School and attended HACC. He served in the PA National Guard and was an active member of The Mechanicsburg Club and attended St. Mark Lutheran Church. He enjoyed his dogs and the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. His love of racing began at Williams Grove Speedway which grew into a passion for NASCAR and he traveled the country to many races.
Robert's wit and sense of humor made people comfortable. Conversation with him was easy. He was quietly generous and had a big heart. He was self motivated and highly driven. Robert derived great pleasure from his work and even continued working through his illness.
He started his first business in Edgewood, MD. After moving back to PA he created many other successful businesses including Budget Body Shop, Quality Electric, Yentzer Bros. Construction and Cumberland Valley Excavators. His biggest achievement was East Coast Truck and Trailer. Robert was also accomplished in real estate, developing and establishing new home communities and commercial properties throughout PA and other states.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday December 17, 2022 at St. Mark Lutheran Church 117 W. Keller St., Mechanicsburg. Visitation is from 10-11:30 with a service to follow. Inurnment is at Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill. A luncheon will be held at The Mechanicsburg Club.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church or The American Cancer Society.
