
Stephen John Neal of Camp Hill passed away on September 23, 2026, at 93 years of age.
He was delivered by his grandfather, Dr. Leonard Neal, to his parents Margaret (Stephens) Neal and Homer Neal on June 14,1933. He is predeceased in death by his wife, Pauline (Rice) Neal of Camp Hill and son, Patrick John Neal of Mechanicsburg.
Surviving are two brothers; John and James Neal of Mansfield; his daughters; Andrea (Neal) Campbell, her husband the late Mark Campbell III, their children and grandchildren. Alison (Neal) Shaffer and her husband Rory Shaffer and their children.
Stephen attended Carson Long Institute where he held many leadership titles. Upon graduation he began his career in the Army. He then attended Mansfield State Teachers College. He earned a Master’s and Law degree after marrying his wife, Pauline.
Stephen was a copyright attorney for Broadcast Music Incorporated prior to retirement.
He was a Master Gardner, Senior Warden of Saint Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral, a member of; VFW, American Legion, Masonic Lodge, Sons of the American Revolution, Yellow Breeches Conservation and numerous organizations.
Stephen enjoyed Fly Fishing and fishing the surf of the ocean. Many car trips were had with his wife traveling North and South along the Eastern seaboard. Piles of books, newspapers, and magazines filled his home time with reading. Skiing was a favorite past time that he passed onto his children as well as swimming and exploring the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania near his home.
Stephen was registered with Humanity Gifts Registry (hgrpa.org) medical science.
