William L. Stewart

William L. Stewart, Sr., 77, of Harrisburg, PA peacefully transitioned into eternal life on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. He was born in McDonald, GA, son of the late Henry Stewart and Lois Stewart (Duffy). He was an active member of the Laborer's International Union of North America, Local Union No. 1180 for more than 30 years. A member of Mt. Zion Church of God In Christ and in his leisure time enjoyed playing baseball and watching football. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his seven brothers and three sisters and leaves to celebrate his life his wife of 49 years, Mrs. Pearlie M. Stewart; his ten children, Gwendolyn, Dover, DE, Bernadine, Marie, Carolynn, William, Jr., Debra, Linda, Joe of Harrisburg, Jannette, Capitol Heights, MD and Annette, Newark, NJ; twenty grand-children, twenty-four great grand-children, three great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
