Edward Darrell Back

Born February 10, 1946, in Sergent, Kentucky, he was a son of the late William and Belvia (Bach) Back.

After graduation, He enlisted in the United States Navy where he proudly served his country until his honorable discharge in 1980.

Edward had a long career as a software and hardware engineer prior to his retirement.

He was an avid gardener, and model ship builder, completing several museum quality sailing ships. He loved photography, and walking in the national forests and the Navy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Heather, and 9 of his 10 brothers.

In addition to his loving wife, the former Sandra Starks, he is survived by son, Bryan Back and his wife, the former Lauren Walker, and by his brother, Milton and his wife, Atlas. Also surviving are his 3 grandchildren and his only great grandchild, along with several sisters in law, nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held on October 20th for his remaining family members in Pennsylvania.
