
Edwin F. Goldbach, 74, of Lake Ariel, PA, passed away on December 26, 2023, after a brief illness. He was born on January 4, 1949 in Kearny, NJ. He was the son of the late Edwin V. and Jean Okrasinski Goldbach. Ed was a graduate of Brandywine High School in Wilmington, DE. He served in the U.S. Army 1968 – 1970. Ed worked in several heavy industries and engineering firms as a quality control and inspection engineer. Ed Enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating on Lake Wallenpaupack and travel around the U.S. in his R.V. including a memorable trip to Alaska. He enjoyed dinners with family and friends, card games, workouts in the Dunmore YMCA pool, telling stories and making people laugh. Ed is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Susan Sutton Goldbach; sons, Christopher Thompson and wife Kellie and Seth Goldbach and his wife Sharon; daughters, Dana Wilson and her husband Jerome and Amanda Theobald. He will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Madeline, Lydia, Nathan, Kendall, Jaden, Dillan, Joe, Parker, Asher, Max, Sam and Eric; great grandchildren, Noah, Lacey, Kendall Jr. and Kyng; twin sister, Barbara Duszak; sisters Judith and her husband Frank Kozlowski and Carol Goldbach. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice, with preference to Veterans or First Responders in honor of Ed.
