John J Copertino

John J Copertino, Sr, 88 of Springbrook Township and Englewood Florida, where they enjoyed being snowbirds during the winter, passed away peacefully at home on December 6th, 2024. His wife of 65 years, Catherine Snarski Copertino, by his side.

Born on May 15, 1936, in Scranton Pa., he is the son of the late Domenick and Anna Galiani Copertino. John was a member of St. Eulalia’s Church, Roaring Brook Pa.

He served in the United States Army as a E5 Staff Sergeant from 1961-1965. He retired from Tobyhanna Army Depot as an Architectural Draftsman.

Also surviving are his 4 children, Annette Grudzinski, husband Robert, Kissimmee Florida; John Copertino Jr, wife Gloria, Lyman South Carolina; Danny Copertino, wife Alona, Springbrook Pa.; Donna Copertino, Bath Pa. He has 8 surviving grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his 4 sisters.

A mass of Christian Services will be celebrated, Saturday Dec. 21, 2024, at 11:00 AM with a visitation to take place prior from 10:00 AM until the time of service, at the St Eulalia’s Church, Roaring Brook, PA. A lite lunch arrangement will be made for those that want to attend afterwards.
