Linda S. Ball

Linda S. Ball, 76 of Lovelton, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Towanda Skilled Care, Towanda, Pennsylvania. She was born on November 6, 1947, in Mehoopany to George and Kathleen (Faux) Smith, Jr. Linda graduated from Tunkhannock Area School District in 1965. As a former Post Master, she retired from the US Postal Service after working for 24 years. After retirement, she continued working for the Sullivan County Dept. of Emergency Management Services for several years. She loved her cats, costume jewelry, and grandchildren. In addition, Linda also loved spending time with her church family at Lovelton Bible Church. She is survived by her children, Iver and wife Ashley Tokoi, Amanda and husband Tim Hilfiger, Richard Ball, Michael and Coleen Ball, Candace and husband John Cobb, Crystal and husband David Miller, and David Ball, sister Georgette Smith, brother David and wife Lynn Smith, numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Kathleen Smith, husband John Ball, sons Patrick and Stephen Ball, daughter-in-law Patricia Ball, sisters Darlene Stark and Laurie Pedley.
