Margaret V. Salabsky, 95, of Effort, passed away August 12, 2024 at home with her family by her side. Born October 12, 1928 in Freeland, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Demkovich) Smell.
Margaret was a devoted Catholic, loved ice skating, shows, movies and reading. She worked for AT & T for 32 years. Margaret had 10 brothers and she was the last survivor.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving daughter Lois Kruppa, son: Michael Salabsky Jr, son-in-law: Edward Hull, 6 grandchildren and 8 great children.
She was preceded in death by; husband, Michael Salabsky Sr. sister, Anna Miller, daughter Barbara Salabsky and grandson Justin Shellhammer.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday September 13, 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Nisky Hill Cemetery 245 E. Church St. Bethlehem, PA 18018
