He was a retired autobody and tractor -trailer mechanic and loved raising and riding horses.
Survived by his beloved wife Marie Sandman, 4 children including Robert C. Sandman and Jenna M. (Moser) Sandman - Daughter-In-Law ; 3 stepchildren including Justin Humphreys; 13 grandchildren including Lucile R. Sandman, Robert C. Sandman II, Tye Humphreys and Jaxon Humphreys.
He was preceded in death by brothers; Frederick R. Sandman, Henry “Murph” Dalton and John “Jack” Dalton.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
