Richard J Weaver Jr.

Richard J. Weaver, Jr., passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026, at The Gardens for Memory Care in Easton, PA. He was born in Allentown, PA, on February 19, 1942, to the late Richard J. Weaver, Sr. and Anna Myrtle Moyer. He grew up in Allentown.

Richard proudly served in the United States Navy, where he saw and experienced much of the world. After his time in the Navy, he started his own business, building truck scales for more than 20 years. He later worked for Dewalt’s RVs.

Richard was dedicated to serving his community. He volunteered for more than 30 years with the Allentown Fire Police and also volunteered for 20 years as a Fire Police officer with the West Penn Fire Company.

He married his beloved wife, Natasha M. Beck, in 1962. Together, they had four children: Richard J. Weaver, III, married to Donna; Kimberly Ann Leitgeb, married to Kevin; Ronald R. Weaver, married to Pamela; and Kelly L. Weaver, who lives in Florida.

Richard was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, who will carry his memory and love with them.

Richard lived a life filled with family, service, hard work, and dedication to his community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
